Denise Sidhu

With more than two decades at Kernel Capital, Denise Sidhu is a highly accomplished venture capitalist with a proven track record in enabling the growth, development and successful exits of Kernel Capital portfolio companies. She plays an instrumental role in shaping the firm’s investment strategy and actively supports portfolio companies as a board representative for Cirdan Imaging Limited, B-Secur Limited, Privacy Engine, and Kianda Technologies Limited.

Denise previously served as Chair and Council Member of the Irish Venture Capital Association, contributing to national policy discussions and championing the growth of Ireland’s innovation ecosystem.

Prior to joining Kernel in 2001, Denise’s corporate finance experience varied from debt financing as Head of Finance in Ulster Bank Commercial Finance Limited and to trust and private banking in her role as Financial Controller of The Bank of Nova Scotia, Channel Islands.

She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and a Licentiate of the Compliance Institute, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of governance, integrity, and financial stewardship.
