Dr. Christian Ketels

Dr Christian Ketels is a global expert in economic competitiveness and strategy. He currently serves as Lead Economist at the World Bank, Washington. He spent over two decades at Harvard Business School as a faculty member and at Professor Michael Porter’s Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness. Dr Ketels is Co-Chair of Innovation Fund Denmark, and Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of Orkestra, the Basque Institute for Competitiveness. He advised a wide range of governments, corporations, and international organisations, and served on DETEs Advisory Panel for Enterprise Policy. He holds a Phd in Economics from the London School of Economics.
